Bournemouth centre-back Ilya Zabarnyi has emerged as another option for Paris Saint-Germain, should they miss out on Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae.

PSG’s strategic advisor Luis Campos spoke with Min-Jae’s agent to enquire about possible transfer terms.

The €50 million asking price สนใจสมัคร? คลิกที่นี่เพื่อเริ่มต้น for the Bavarians is not an obstacle for the reigning Champions League champions, but a major obstacle in the race for the 28-year-old is Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, who are ready to pay more than double his salary.

If the South Korean player chooses to return to play in the Asian league, PSG will have to look at the secondary option of 22-year-old Zabarnyi, who they have been following his development since he was at Dynamo Kyiv.

The 1.89m defender has made 39 appearances in all competitions this season. Has one assist and is very disciplined in defence, conceding just four yellow cards. He is valued at € 70m  ( £ 59m )  .

However, there is still a gap in the valuation of Zabarnyi. PSG have already offered over €50m for the centre-back, however, Bournemouth rate him at €70m. As a result, negotiations have not advanced. Of course, a deal can still happen, and the second summer transfer opens in less than a week. Given the difference in valuation, talks may, however, take time.
